The servers are located in the UK and they offer both Windows and Unix options. Their website gives me a slightly outdated feel with the way it is designed, which is a little concerning for me since they are also a web design company. Of course, the look of a website is just someone’s opinion. Most people I’ve seen have said that the hosting is stable and they have plenty of features to satisfy most people’s needs.
I didn’t find any type of uptime guarantee, which is unfortunate. From what I can gather, however, the uptime and stability of hosting is not going to be an issue. They do have great tech support 24/7 and they do daily backups, which can help to minimize the risk of an outage. People who use this company for hosting seem quite satisfied with their stability so there is not much to be concerned about. Of course, having an uptime guarantee is always nice to have.
When you go through their list of features you will see that htey have just about everything you could need. They offer daily backups, Windows and Unix operating systems, packages with unlimited bandwidth and more. They also provide free SSL certificates and SEO training courses on some packages.
They use Plesk for the control panel, which is a fairly popular option but if you prefer cPanel than this might be an issue. I did not see anywhere that cPanel was even offered as an extra. Other than that, however, you will find that this hosting company provides you with basically everything you could need for any entry level to mid-sized site.
This company really has built a name for giving good tech support. They are available 24/7 and seem to be very happy to help you with anything you need. They also have video tutorials and other self-help options that can be very helpful to people who like to learn things as they go. It is easy to get ahold of their tech support team too with convenient email and phone support available.
Their pricing structure seems a little odd to me. They have some options that are fairly inexpensive, costing less than $10 per month. These are shared hosting and priced right in line with what I would expect. For other shared hosting plans, however, the price is 299 Euro per year. Then some are even more expensive. The price ranges are quite large since they are all shared hosting. If you opt for this company to host your site, make sure you look closely at the features you’re getting to ensure you get the right features for the right price.
This company has been around for a long time and they have done a good job at keeping up with the latest technologies. They are obviously not trying to capture the market for larger or busier sites, but if you have a small to medium sized site that needs hosting, there are some good options. If you’re looking for SEO services and web design too, this could be a great fit for you.
