I've looked at using CDN for awhile but could not justify the cost. As a consultant for a software game developer, you need lots of bandwidth in spurts and then things die off til the next release or update. With Beluga, the ability to have a CDN is now a reality for us. Our users are happy with the speeds. (Some of our games are over 5GB in size). We successfully deployed a release this past week with no complaints of download speeds. That is a first! Best of all, we did it at a price that was affordable to use.
I wish they had better reporting, but you do have the ability to receive logs from them, so that's a good compromise. I've sent in 4 support tickets and most of the time they responded back within 10 minutes or less! SHOCKING.
Have used them for a while now. The guys respond to emails promptly and quickly resolve any issue that arises. That's particularly impressive given the price.

I tested several CDN providers at the same time. Intense tests from millions sites surfers (these sites of my customers), not from backbone networks, showed that the BelugaCDN delivers content, to surfers, faster than many others. And also, much less percentage of errors with content delivery.
These figures for the BelugaCDN are better than the large global CDN providers. It's hard to believe, but it's a fact.

They spend your money from your credit card every month even you never didn't use their CDN.
They charged every month on 20$, even you don't set up your pull zones. Because they required credit card data while creating an account. Support told me that I selected an automatically charge when I was registered, but I don't find any option in settings how to remove Credit card data or an option how to switch off automatically charges. So seems to they have only one option is to remove an account. Also they didn't have an FTP data upload service by default, only as additional service with extra payment for this service. Seems to you have to pay every month minimum 20$ and plus a fee for spent traffic.

Your $20 Pro plan includes 2500 GB of traffic per month, and overage at $0.008/GB. You could have contacted the Billing team and either downgraded your plan, or simply closed it if you were not using it. We offer FTP storage at an additional rate, as it is an add-on service. We hope you change your mind about the 2.8 rating because it is entirely not reflective of our service.
