This hosting company is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and serves customers throughout South America and beyond. They have a variety of services including web hosting, domain registration, server housing (for colocation) and internet connections. Their site is in Argentinian and it does not translate well to English with the browser tools.
Their site is difficult to navigate and doesn’t seem to load properly. I got a number of errors saying that the page became unresponsive while reviewing their services. This continued even after reloading the page and taking other troubleshooting steps.
This company offers hosting out of a great data center that has redundant power, network connections and other features. They also use this facility for colocation services, which must be very stable in order to be helpful to any company. The hardware used on their servers is also of great quality so you shouldn’t run into any trouble with outages.
The features are listed in a very unusual way on their website. Rather than having all similar packages listed together so they can be compared, they have each one on its own tab so you have to click back and forth. The shared hosting provides for between 1 and unlimited gigs of disk space, which is not bad. They also offer free setup and unlimited data transfer. The dedicated servers are actually sold through another website (solu games) so that isn’t even going to be covered here.
The tech support with this company doesn’t really put too much information out there about what they can do for you. They also don’t have much self-help information on their site. While they may be very qualified, it would be helpful if they provided more details.
The pricing all seems to be in line with what you see on other hosting company websites. They list the prices in the native currency, but then list US dollars under it, which is a convenient feature. The shared hosting prices range from $6.19 to $66.01 per month. The higher end solutions are really more like VPS hosting than shared so the price isn’t terrible.
I can’t really say that this is a very user friendly hosting provider. Their site is hard to navigate, they don’t lay things out in a way that makes it easy to compare and there isn’t too much information available on their tech support. While they can certainly meet the needs of most people, it would be nice if they redid their website and focused on clarity.
Overall this really isn’t a bad hosting provider. If you need hosting based in Argentina, this may be a good company to consider. You will have to get past their poor website configuration though, which some people may be unwilling to do.
