SuperHosting is based in Bulgaria and is rapidly growing. They have been in business for over ten years now and have become the largest hosting provider in this country, though they also provide hosting to people throughout the region. With over 80,000 sites managed on their servers they clearly know what they are doing.
In addition to hosting services they also provide domain name registration, SSL certificates, eCommerce platforms and digital marketing services. While there are some downsides to this company, which will be discussed in the following sections, they do an overall nice job. If you are looking for a hosting company in the Bulgaria region, this is definitely one you should consider.
Uptime & Reliability
No Known Issues
I didn’t see any type of uptime guarantee with this company, which some people may not like. They do seem to have a good infrastructure and they perform regular backups to help recover from any type of outages. There aren’t too many user reviews in English that I could find to indicate whether people are complaining about the service or not. Their support team is responsive, however, so it is unlikely that you will run into any significant outages that you will need to be concerned about.
Features
Fairly Typical Features
This company offers pretty typical hosting features throughout their different packages. The entry level shared hosting gives you 150 gigs of bandwidth, 15 gigs of disk space and weekly backups. They also offer 90 BGN of Google AdWords credits at this level. The entry level shared hosting says it comes with ‘server power x1’ which is really too vague to provide any real insight to how well the server will operate. The highest level shared hosting option is 150 gigs of disk space, unlimited bandwidth and a SSD for the databases, which is nice. They also do 3 backups per week and ‘server power x6.’
You can also get VPS hosting solutions, which are quite nice. This hosting company offers both managed and unmanaged VPSs so you can choose the exactly level of service that you need. If you know a lot about hosting you will want the unmanaged, otherwise managed is right for you. Each of the options have five levels of hosting to choose from so you can get the power you need without overpaying.
Finally they also offer dedicated servers for those who need complete control and the most powerful server options. This level comes with DDoS protection, dedicated network uplinks, 2 free IP addresses and more. You’ll also have full root access for all dedicated servers.
Support
24/7/365 Tech Support
Getting in touch with the technical support teams is not too difficult. They are available 24/7/365 via email, phone and their internal ticketing system. Once you get in contact with them they will be happy to help you with whatever you need. Keep in mind that some of their hosting products are unmanaged, which means they don’t handle anything but hardware outages. If you have managed hosting, however, they will be there to assist with whatever you need.
Pricing
Standard Hosting Prices
The hosting prices are all pretty standard with this company. Even if you choose to pay month to month you aren’t going to be getting ripped off at all. If you can pay for one or more years at a time the prices come with a significant discount too, which is nice. They do have ‘best offer’ levels that try to push you toward the packages they want to sell. This is a common marketing technique, but doesn’t always actually get you the best deal so keep that in mind before choosing your package.
Summary
Overall Good Hosting
The hosting with Superhosting is going to be quite good if you want your sites hosted in this region. They have been in business for a long time and really seem to know how to keep their customers quite satisfied. You will have access to plenty of different options when it comes to your hosting so you can get exactly what you want.
Pros:
- Lots of Options
- Reasonable Prices
- SSD Options
Cons:
- Regional Services
- Some ‘best package’ options aren’t really the best deals
