DO NOT USE XNEELO
WARNING: www.XNEELO.co.za

WILL DAMAGE YOUR BUSINESS - THEY ARE SCAMMERS! BE WARNED! Their new form of accounting is when you simply add without justification, whatever amount you should refund the client!

After they overcharged me, when I took to complaining, despite all my services being paid until November 2025, after they had my sites down over 70 days in the middle of and over my high season, because their accounts could not keep track of an agreement regarding data we were backing up and moving, and they had agreed not to charge on that data, then they spent all this time taking my websites down, without my knowledge because their accounts could not keep track of the arrangement. Every time they took it down - the data would take 3 weeks to re upload, they would give a "week" to follow through on their plan, which would not be enough time to complete their own recommendations, then they would again interrupt the process, deleting everything, then their accounts sending a bill, having to re- review the arrangements. Then when I had enough last month, we finished the process, after they had the site 20 days that month, restarting the back ups twice, they then cancelled my accounts, stole the money they should be refunding by suddenly again adding these fees. This is blue collar crime and cost my company potentially millions in opportunities. We had to then restart and the day before we finished when they said they are deleting every thing so I cannot check everything, then instead of moving things nicely as I moved them to them originally, they packaged my sites data and emails instead making exporting difficult, and further they then spent the last 24 hours lying to me about one of my main sites being down for 5 - 7 days,(all screenshot) meanwhile my new host told me they must do a simple auth, I had to threaten to post online again to get any action. DO NOT HOST WITH @highlight www.xneelo.com #worstservice #bluecollar They have blocked me on Facebook now. Please feel free to tag them below.

Warning! Do not use Xneelo!!
My website was built on magento. Xneelo updated their php to version 8 without an option to downgrade for compatibility and my website has crashed. Magento doesn’t support php 8 and xneelo’s response is either develop a new website or move service providers. Well I will definitely be doing the latter.

Very bad customer service
I can compare dealing with Xneelo to dealing with Telkom. They always respond saying ‘click this or that link and work on the system’ with no resolution of the issue

We recommend Hetzner
We have worked with a number of hosting providers in South Africa in the past while searching for a company that was reliable, transparent and cost effective for our budget conscious clients. Hetzner fit the bill and we ended up migrating a number of clients over to their platform a few years ago. I enjoy the fact that they have real telephonic support and they are more than happy to go beyond the call of duty to get you up and running. I've found some aspects of their control panel, KonsoleH to be a unintuitive, especially when adding additional domains to a shared hosting account. The ability to SSH into a server cannot be taken for granted as a developer and Hetzner is one of the few providers that has SSH access available for shared hosting locally. This really helps when deploying sites to the environment.
