My website was built on magento. Xneelo updated their php to version 8 without an option to downgrade for compatibility and my website has crashed. Magento doesn’t support php 8 and xneelo’s response is either develop a new website or move service providers. Well I will definitely be doing the latter.
Must be one of the worst hosts around, slow as anything, CP out of the stome age and dreadful support, Seems like they havent moved on from where they started. Wouldnt touch them with a barge pole
I can compare dealing with Xneelo to dealing with Telkom. They always respond saying ‘click this or that link and work on the system’ with no resolution of the issue

We have worked with a number of hosting providers in South Africa in the past while searching for a company that was reliable, transparent and cost effective for our budget conscious clients. Hetzner fit the bill and we ended up migrating a number of clients over to their platform a few years ago. I enjoy the fact that they have real telephonic support and they are more than happy to go beyond the call of duty to get you up and running. I've found some aspects of their control panel, KonsoleH to be a unintuitive, especially when adding additional domains to a shared hosting account. The ability to SSH into a server cannot be taken for granted as a developer and Hetzner is one of the few providers that has SSH access available for shared hosting locally. This really helps when deploying sites to the environment.
