Limited Package Options
One thing that is a little confusing about this company is their package options. They really just market one main hosting package, which has everything you need. The normal monthly price of this is $5.50, but they seem to have frequent ‘sales’ to make this significantly cheaper. They do have other ‘suites’ for design, marketing and support that cost extra normally. At the time of this writing these suites are all included in their normal hosting package. It says this is a limited time offer, but from what I can tell it has been going on for a while so that may just be a marketing strategy. Based on what I can see on their site, the prices do seem fair.
Mostly Easy to Use Hosting
The only thing that is a little confusing with this company is figuring out what is included with their main hosting package and whether or not there are other package options. Experienced webmasters may find it a little odd that they really only offer the one main package (with possible extra suites). If you’re new to the web hosting world, however, this will likely just seem normal.

Good Quality Shared Hosting
This is a nice company that is offering good quality hosting to their customers. They only provide shared hosting solutions, so that does put in some limitations. For most people, however, this is more than enough.
I have taken service for 3 years but after 1 year they migrated my services to another host who is asking me to buy dedicated ip, SSL certificates. i was cheated by there service and now as i can see they are redirecting there users to ipage website. i will warn everyone not to use ehost or there associates for hosting plans as they show big offers and after sales there is no solution except wasting your time and money.

I wish I can give them 0 stars. Anyways here is my story I by mistake changed my DNS to unassigned and wasn't able to assign it back. So ehost set it back for me (as they said). Talk to 4 of there support people and having 3 open ticket. Each one of them says they fixed it(previously it wasn't). It has been 2 weeks my website is still down my DNS is harshvirgurm.com. Ticket I opened were(ticket ID is FCF-53331555,50095029 and )
I cant check my Email OR they get kicked back stating the site doesnt exist. .......Web design options are limited.....And I can no longer access anything needed to change or update my site.....I am reading that there are a ton of people as of 1/2018 that have just had their web based businesses destroyed, and that no one from the company will respond.....
Twelve months after signing up with eHost my website disappeared and my eHost account could no longer be logged in to. So although I wanted to cancel the account due to the poor hosting, I couldn’t because I was locked out. 24 months on, and they charge me for renewal of an account that wasn’t working (and still wasn’t working immediately after they took the money from my credit card. When I complained and asked for a refund they re-activated the account, which I no longer wanted or needed, and told me to go whistle for the money.
They are greedy for money. I hosted my site last year with them. I was just glancing through their plans and searched for a domain and proceeded. Without any confirmation they charged about $25 from my card. I had to fight a lot. I then submitted a complaint to BBB who got my money back.
tried to coerce this business customers to buy SiteLock under threat of deactivation (due to malware php scripts they allowed to be inserted in public_html directories -- meaning secure password was not hacked but used from inside). Wow, I thought I was being mean when I felt the same way you did. My website was working fine for the longest time until they went into "transition" mode. Then, every other day they would suspend my account because I supposedly had bunch of viruses. How could they get there if I had not touched the website for a long time? The last login IP showed that it was logged on from India. I pointed that out to them and got a wishy washy answer. I have a church website that does not get updated frequently and a personal website that just had initial WordPress installed. Nothing configured. They kept saying I had bunch of Viruses on my website. I finally moved my website to a personal server and asked them to cancel my account. They quickly ran their own virus scanner and told me which files were infected and I removed them. The PHP files they referred to came from their own servers as I have the same templates installed on a different website/server and they're not part of the templates.
